Trump is nothing more than an overt manifestation of the modern day Republican
party. The right wing echo chamber for years has pushed its audience to a
view of the world that is devoid of facts. What we now are faced with is close
to half of Americans that vote that live in a world totally divorced from the reality
of what is actually happening. (half of Americans do NOT exercise their right to
vote)
The perfect storm is now here and this party now controls all three branches
of Federal government. Additionally they now control most state governments.
In fact, they are one state away from controlling 2/3 of all state governments.
Elections have consequences and we are going to see consequences of this
administration. The biggest will be the damage this government inflicts on
our environment. As just one example, as hydraulic fracking in the
state of Oklahoma increased earthquakes also increased from 2011 from 63
to over 600 in 2016.
The new administration is so concerned with the environment that they have
nominated to lead the EPA the former States Attorney of Oklahoma, Scott Pruitt,
who filed numerous suits against the EPA.
All EPA grants and contracts have been suspended by the Trump administration.
Gag orders have been placed on staffers at the EPA as well as all other
agencies like NASA.
Our Federal government is full of scientists whose job it is to conduct
research on our climate, on pollution. Well folks those days are over. Agencies
will be gutted.
During this firestorm that you will be witnessing over the next four years (at
least 4 years) not only be gutting Federal agencies that provide great value
to our environment but you are going to witness unfettered government spending
to the likes you have never seen.
This is not a Trump thing. This is a Republican thing. Republicans are only
fiscally responsible when they are not in control of the Government.
This time things are different my fellow citizens. This is not politics as usual.
More is at stake than just our country. Our planet is at stake.

Trump Lies - Calling the Media Dishonest Human Beings
[I will be tracking President Trump's lies, falsehoods, untruths, or whatever you want to call them. I will be using his words, his falsehood. No other narrative is really needed. This will be the first of many. I do hope to get a day off every now and then.]
On Saturday (1/21/2017) while at the CIA President Trump said.
“I have a running war with the media,” Mr. Trump said. “They are among the most dishonest human beings on earth, and they sort of made it sound like I had a feud with the intelligence community.” [Source]
Here is a tweet he sent out on 1/11/2017 comparing our intelligence communities to Nazi's.
Sadly, much of the news cycles must be taken up with the press being blamed as dishonest when all they do is report what he said in his own words. The last 30 seconds of the video is President Trump saying what I have quoted him above saying. His own writing, his own words, his own lies.

Woman's March on Washington and Across the Planet - Part 2
Millions of Woman took to the streets today 1/21/2017 to protest the Trump Presidency and to send a clear message as to how they feel about his political agenda.
I spent the better part of today doing research on the web at all the marches that took place across the United States and the rest of the World.
Here is the journey in photographs. Donald Trump thinks he can do an Orwellian trick and try and discredit our media and spew his racist, misogynistic propaganda but he will fail. Here is evidence. These number will grow over time. He took over the GOP, he defeated the Democrats (with the help of Putin and our own FBI), and he has taken the press down to their knees. Now he must face WE THE PEOPLE. There are too many of us. You will unite us President Trump. Just not in the way you think.
From Washington, where an estimated 500,000 woman traversed the country to speak their peace,
Where the local paper reported that 5000 protesters came out in sub-tropical temperatures to exercise their first amendment rights. In Los Angeles an estimated 750,000 protesters took to the streets.
In Chicago where 250,000 protesters convened that they had to cancel the actual march.
Here is a view from my city of Seattle.
This was not a march held in Blue states. Marches happened in Mississippi
Dallas
Birmingham Alabama
Every corner of America and in South America, Europe, the UK, across the globe Woman took to the streets to march. As Trump and the GOP attempt to implement their radical agenda to further diminish the working class in America (poor and middle) these numbers will grow as will the resistance.

Millions of American woman took time off from their jobs and their families to come to Washington DC to put the new administration on notice. The message?
You may control all 3 branches of government and do a lot of things we may not be able to stop on the short term, but we are watching your every move and we are not going away.
This is not only the sentiment of woman across America, but the sentiment of the voting block that won the popular vote by 2.8 million more votes than President Trump received. Given what we have seen for his cabinet picks, and what we will likely see with the repeal of the Affordable Care Act these numbers are going to grow.
Trumps rise was as much a referendum on the GOP voters who felt their party was doing nothing for them. After all, for the last 2 years of the Obama administration republicans controlled both the House and the Senate. During that period what legislation did they propose to help Americans that are still hurting? What we are now witnessing seems to be worse than GOP business as usual. People will soon feel the sting that comes with losing the Affordable Care Act.
The Womans March blew away the number of people at the Inauguration. According to the Washington Post ,"On Sunday, Metro officials announced that Saturday was the second-busiest day
in the Washington subway system’s history, with 1,001,613 trips. (By contrast, on Trump’s Inauguration Day, the system recorded 570,557 trips.)"
And in this day of claims of fake news when the story does not meet your narrative a
picture is worth a thousand words.
Given the events of this day that were witnessed by President Trump you would think he would have gone to Twitter. His Twitter feed was silent on this event. When your main message has been talking about the size of your own crowds, to witness a crowd twice the size of your own inauguration must be sobering.
The only comment thus far from the Trump Administration came from Kellyanne Conway.
"We certainly respect people's First Amendment rights," Conway said. "But I frankly didn't see the point. I mean, you have a day after he's uplifting and unifying and you have folks here being on a diatribe where I think they could have requested a dialogue. Nobody called me and said, 'Hey, could we have a dialogue?'"

Trump Will Unite America
The US Constitution is our most sacred document. It guarantees all Americans basic protections, rights and fundamental laws. These cannot be taken from us.
Millions of protesters came together today to unite. They did so in red states and in blue states. During this administration I have no doubt that in the days to come we will see many moderate, liberal, and working class Americans unite.
I have little doubt that we will unite over the work that this administration does or attempts to do.

It is Saturday morning, the day after the inaguration. I am watching the
woman's march happening around the country. I am sick or I would be at the
one happening in Seattle. I heard on one of the stations that march organizers
did not want to welcome pro-life woman that want to participate. I think
this is a mistake.
In 1973 I was 15 years old. Row vs Wade passed and a simple melody
came into my head and I wrote the following.
Never Born I died
On this earth I might have stood
but mother didn't think that I should
my life was over in a flash
and now my soul lies in the trash
Never born I died
and they don't call it homicide
the law says it's fair and just
so it's ashes to ashes
and dust to dust
Over the years this has been a subject that I have thought a lot about. I have
learned over the years that this is not a black and white issue. Those words only
tell one part of this story.
Recently, I was asked to pray for a pregnant mother that found out that
her baby, a daughter, had no kidneys (just one of many other complications).
The baby would have no chance of survival. Now, it was only a choice of inducing
labor now and saying goodbye, or going to full-term and saying goodbye. The words
never born I died take on a different trajectory for this mother.
She was not long ago at her shower, opening all the gifts, laughing
and doing all the things woman do at a shower. She was a happy mother,
beaming, radiant, dreaming about all the things she would get to do with
her daughter.
And now she and her husband are faced with making the decision when to
say goodbye to the child they will never know. As I try to reach into the
depth of my own soul I cannot begin to understand the sorrow they face.

Real Political Courage and Being an American First
Warning: This post contains quotes that use vulgar and disturbing language.
On June 11, 1963 President Kennedy sent the National Guard to the University of Alabama to ensure that Vivian Malone could enroll in classes at the University of Alabama. In a mostly symbolic gesture of defiance, the Governor of Alabama, George Wallace, had the Alabama State Patrol surround the building as he blocked the front entrance.
President Kennedy was a Democrat. Governor Wallace was a Democrat. After that historic action the South became Republican country. Republican country for generations. In fact, in 1968 Richard Nixon executed what is known as the "Southern Strategy." The "Southern Strategy" refers to methods the Republican Party used to gain political support in the South by appealing to the racist tendencies of white voters.
President Kennedy did not do the politically expedient thing. President Kennedy followed the law against a defiant segregationist Governor within his own political party! This is not only courage but led to his own party losing the southern state still to this day.
Fast forward to the 2016 Presidential race.
In 2005 on Howard Stern’s radio show, Donald Trump said the following in reference to a Teen Pageant (YES, TEENAGERS!)...
"No men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it, ‘Is everyone OK?’ You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible-looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.”
He also is on tape during and Access Hollywood bus saying the following which was recorded several months after he married his third and current wife, Melania....
"I moved on her, and I failed. I’ll admit it. I did try and fuck her. She was married,”
“You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful ... I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait. And when you’re a star, they let you do it, You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy, You can do anything.”
These are the words from the Republican candidate for the President of the United States, a man who won over fifteen other Republican candidates. This is the party that claims to be the party of family values and morality. His running mate, Mike Pence claims to be a Christian first. Trump is still being backed by religious leaders like John Jeffrees and Jerry Falwell. Paul Ryan still is backing him. In fact most Republican members of The Senate and the House of Representatives are backing him.
Folks, these are not accusations against Trump. This is Trump talking on tape talking about walking in on teen age girls that are naked or partially dressed. Talking about wanting to have intercourse with a married woman and talking about sexually assaulting women and getting away with it because he is a celebrity.
Donald Trump is a manifestation of what the Republican party has become. Decades of people like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Andrew Breitbart, Ann Coulter, and Laura Ingraham on television and radio talking about liberals as if they were the incarnation of the devil himself.
Every one of these people are going to vote for a man that is on tape saying what is quoted above.
But even before this came out this is a man who referred to Mexicans as rapists, mocked a disabled reporter, referred to woman as dogs, flat-chested, and pigs… even called for the Russians to hack Clinton's email. I could write a book on all the disgusting things this man has said. Many will be written about this dark stain on the American political process, our democracy.
You are free to vote for whomever you want. Regardless of your beliefs and attitudes this is your right as an American. But if you vote for this man you no longer get to claim the moral high road. The Republican party, their values and ideals have created the perfect moral degenerate to run for the highest office in the land. And, now in the face of overwhelming evidence, when confronted with the exact words of this man from decades ago to present day of the things this degenerate has said, they lack the courage to stand up as Americans. Their party is more important than America. Their party is more important than the Americans they were entrusted to represent.
How do they defend the indefensible?
How will you defend the indefensible? Will you remain quiet as many of you have?
Donald Trump is not an aberration. He is the fulfillment of what this party has become over the past several decades, a party of derisive hypocrites whose goals are to tear down, not build up.
Are you really going to vote for this man and for leaders that lack the moral backbone to denounce this man?
